I am a professional coach and senior HR/talent advisor with more than a decade of experience as an operator inside fast paced, performance driven organisations.

Before establishing my coaching and advisory practice, I held senior People and Talent leadership roles across scaling tech companies. I built teams, designed operating models, hired across functions, and worked closely with founders and executives on growth, performance and organisational design. This work was hands on (builder, operator) as well as strategic, and it continues to inform how I advise and coach today.

Coaching grew directly out of this operating experience. I saw highly capable professionals making decisions that did not reflect their true judgement, often under sustained pressure and cognitive load. The issue was rarely intelligence or commitment. More often it was the absence of structured thinking space, challenge, and accountability at moments of consequence.

My work now focuses on supporting experienced professionals and organisations through decisions around career direction, leadership transitions, people strategy and senior hiring. The emphasis is on judgement, timing and follow through.

I am ICF Level 2 trained through The Coaching Centre and work to internationally recognised ethical and professional standards. My approach is psychologically informed, commercially grounded and practical.

Who I work with

Professionals making career and role decisions

You are established in your field and known for your capability. You may be questioning your current role, long term career direction or how much further you want to push in your existing environment.

You want informed challenge, structured thinking and practical perspective that supports high quality decisions.

Coaching commonly focuses on:

  • Career direction and senior role positioning
  • Evaluating opportunities and trade offs
  • Confidence in judgement and decision making
  • Aligning work with values, capacity and ambition

Founders and executives in scaling organisations

You are leading a growing organisation or function. Hiring decisions and leadership capability now shape the business. Mistakes are expensive and difficult to unwind. The focus is on supporting sound people decisions during periods of growth and change.

You may not need a full time HR leader but you do need experienced judgement.

Support may include:

  • Fractional HR and Talent leadership
  • Advisory support on people strategy and structure
  • Hiring strategy and senior role definition
  • Coaching alongside organisational advisory work

Professionals seeking an external thinking partner

You work close to organisational complexity, conflict and accountability. You are often the internal sounding board for others while managing pressure yourself.

Coaching provides a confidential space to think clearly without managing perception or politics. This is reflective work with direct operational impact.

Work often explores:

  • Organisational dynamics and influence
  • Maintaining judgement under pressure
  • Professional identity beyond the role
  • Sustainable leadership practice

Organisations hiring for scarce and specialist skills

You need to hire well in competitive markets where talent is limited and poor decisions are costly. Quality, alignment and judgement matter more than speed. The emphasis is on rigour, fit and long term value.

This is particularly relevant for technical, specialist and leadership roles.

Support can include:

  • Tech recruitment and targeted headhunting
  • Scarce skills search and assessment
  • Role scoping and capability definition
  • Advisory input on senior hiring decisions or organisational design in tech startups
